Our Kratom

The Kratom strains available with us come from different regions of Indonesia. We only harvest leaves from the older trees at the best locations for our products, as they generally have the highest alkaloid content.

Immediately after harvest, the Kratom leaves are dried and processed. This ensures that our products are always fresh and of consistent high quality. The drying process of Kratom leaves is carried out in various ways depending on the strain and desired properties, such as indoor drying, outdoor drying, exposure to light during drying, or drying in the dark. A combination of different drying methods is also frequently used.

After drying, the leaves are first separated from stems and veins and then crushed into small pieces. The crushed leaves are then ground in multiple steps into finer powder while filtering out unwanted residue of stems and veins until an extremely fine powder is produced.

Finally, the resulting powder is tested for unwanted substances and then vacuum-packed for transport to us.

After receiving the Kratom powder, we subject the strains to our own quality testing procedure. Additionally, we regularly test our strains in a certified laboratory for alkaloid content and unwanted substances.

The tropical evergreen Kratom tree is native to various regions in Southeast Asia. The plant, known by its Latin name Mitragyna Speciosa, belongs to the coffee family and usually grows to be 10-15 meters tall, but can reach heights of up to 25 meters under optimal conditions.

The leaves of the older Kratom trees are harvested, dried, and ground into powder before being exported to different countries. Although the Kratom tree is also native to other countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, or Papua New Guinea, the Kratom available in Europe and the United States comes almost exclusively from Indonesia.

Kratom has been used by natives for hundreds of years and has become increasingly popular in Western countries.

Kratom strains can be divided into three categories: Red Vein, White Vein, and Green Vein. "Vein" refers to the leaf veins on the underside of the Kratom leaves.

- Younger Kratom trees tend to have lighter leaf veins.
- As the tree ages, the vein color can begin to take on the green color of the leaf.
- The oldest Kratom leaves of the mature trees can have reddish or brownish leaf veins on the underside.

However, it is important to note that Kratom trees only tend to follow this coloration process of the leaves. Many other factors such as genetics, soil composition, and sun exposure of the Kratom tree can also influence the color of the leaf veins.

The majority of harvested and later processed Kratom leaves into powder have red leaf veins and come from older Kratom trees. A widespread misconception is that the different Kratom strains, Red Vein, White Vein, and Green Vein, are always made from leaves of the respective vein color. However, the differences in the various Kratom strains are determined less by the leaf vein color than by factors and influences such as harvest time, drying method, and light exposure during drying. There are a variety of different cultivation, harvesting, and drying methods that can be used to produce various strains and lead to different results in the end product.

High-quality Kratom is harvested from older, mature Kratom trees and immediately dried and processed into powder after harvest. The harvest time plays a crucial role in this process. Both too early and too late harvests can negatively affect the alkaloid content of the Kratom leaves and make a big difference in the quality of the finished Kratom powder. To obtain high-quality Kratom, the Kratom leaves must be harvested at the exact right time. An equally important role for the quality of the end product is the correct and targeted use of various drying and processing methods.
